A bright red smoothie made with loads of veggies and a touch of fresh fruits.
Ingredients
1 cup water
6 strawberries
2 slices of raw red beet, chopped (approx. 2 tablespoons)
15 green grapes
½ cucumber, skin removed
½ orange, skin removed
2 large handfuls of spinach
4-6 ice cubes
Instructions
Add all ingredients to the jug of your blender in the order they are listed and blend for 20-30 seconds, until smooth.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Adding protein powder or chia seed into the mix will help with natural separation of the ingredients. I don’t mind the separation (I just swish the mixture around a bit as I'm drinking it and it tastes fine!) but it’s a preference thing.
