I want...

[source] Congratulations, Andrea! You’ve won the giveaway! I’ll send you an email to get your details. Thanks for participating everyone :) ~ I bought my very first bag of kelp noodles from Upaya Naturals in August. Sadly, I can’t claim that there was much thought put into the purchase. In fact, the only reason I ordered them was because I was trying to get my cart over a certain amount so I could get free shipping. That free shipping gets me EVERY time. Not only did I avoid having to pay $40+ for shipping, I was introduced to what is now one of my favorite products. Since then, I’ve been adding kelp noodles to salads, soups, and eating them raw straight from the bag. (I understand this is an acquired taste). I’ve made a bunch of different recipes using kelp noodles, including these California Roll Kelp Noodles. The taste of sushi in a bowl. No rolling required; although making your own sushi is fun too. When I was feeling a bit under the weather, I made a quick and easy bowl of Chicken Kelp Noodle Soup – that also happened to be just 150 calories! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. And last; but certainly not least, I surprised Kevin with a Chinese take-in night complete with homemade Chinese food in oyster pail containers. I was so thankful when Kevin took the first bite of the noodles and actually liked them. This is rare in our house. The man lives on meat, potatoes, and mineral water so it makes me happy when I can slide in some cancer fighting, thyroid supporting, super noodles into the mix. Since posting my very first kelp noodle recipe, many of you have been interested in giving them a try but have had a heck of a time finding them in your local shops. Seems like a perfect situation for a giveaway, right? Jane over at Sea Tangle was kind enough to offer one of each of their products to one lucky winner. You’ll have to let me know how you like their green tea noodles and sea vegetables, I haven’t tried them yet! This entry was tagged: kelp noodles
