Wrong!

Just as fresh fruits and vegetables are good for you [due to the limited amount of processing they’ve been through], so is natural, unprocessed salt. The less processing any food goes through, the more nutrients it’s going to have. Simple as that.
Salt is absolutely essential for life, so it would make sense that the salt you choose can have a major impact on your health. Good news is that it’s probably one of the easiest things to change in your daily diet!
Table salt
Table salt is 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% chemicals such as moisture absorbents, and iodine. It is processed at over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, altering the natural chemical structure of the salt. This process strips the natural elements from the salt, leaving it devoid of the nutrients needed to properly digest the salt.
Sea salt
Over the last 100 years especially, our oceans have become polluted and full of heavy metals. Before sea salt can be enjoyed by the masses, it has to be refined to remove these toxins and processed to remove clay, stones, etc. This process strips the natural elements from the salt, leaving it devoid of the nutrients needed to properly digest the salt. Of the 84 natural elements, less than 4 are left intact after it is processed.
Himalayan rock salt
This salt comes from the 250 million year old salt range in the Himalayas in Pakistan. Due to its old age, the salt is 95-99% pure, meaning it doesn’t have to go through the refining process that sea salt or table salt does. Of the 84 elements, all are left intact.
