Mushrooms for different ailments, getting over the weirdness of mushrooms, how to NOT eat a mushroom, and so much more.
I know what you’re thinking: mushrooms? Really, Leanne? Yes, really. I get asked all the time about how I incorporate the superfood power of mushrooms into my ketogenic practice — whether it’s Chaga, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, or Reishi, supplementing with mushrooms has become one of my favorite ways to give my Rocket Fuel Lattes even more of a boost. In fact, mushroom coffee is what helped me finally kick my caffeine habit!
I get it, though, because the idea of putting mushrooms in anything outside of a salad, omelette, or fancy dinner dish was definitely a foreign concept to me a few years ago — I mean, mushroom flavor in a non-savory dish? Weird! But if I know anything about myself, it’s that trying new things usually pays off for me… and in the case of using mushrooms as a superfood supplement, that’s absolutely true. I chatted with someone who knows a whole lot about mushrooms and learned way more than I thought was possible.
