I want...

Congratulations, Liz! You’re the winner of the Natural Vitality $60 gift card! Thank you all for participating :)
I remember hearing this for the first time (while studying holistic nutrition at CSNN) and being pretty upset about it…
Keto shopping lists, recipes, and more! Start keto with this FREE 5-step guide.
I'm ready! It is impossible to get all the nutrients your body needs from the food you eat. No matter how organic, free-range, non-GMO or holistically awesome your diet is.
Total bummer, right?
I thought that if I had the healthiest of healthy diets, I wouldn’t have to worry about my nutrient intake. Sadly, depleted soil and high levels of environmental toxins make it impossible for us to live 100% supplement free.
The silver lining in it all – there are a couple of really great, organic, awesome supplement companies out there that make picking supplements to support your diet fast, easy and inexpensive.
I introduced Natural Vitality Plant-Sourced Minerals to my supplement routine about a month ago in an effort to boost my intake of trace minerals. The cool thing about these guys is that they’re bioavailable which means they’re in a simple form that your body can use up right away.
Because of all the smoothies I drink, I gravitate more toward liquid supplements so I can just add everything to my morning smoothie and move on with living out my day.
That, or BAKE with my supplements! While it’s not good to bake with vitamins (vitamins are damaged when they’re heated) minerals thrive in heat.
Minerals… cupcakes… it had to happen. Taking your daily dose of supplements never tasted so good!

Preheat oven to 350F and line a 6-tin muffin pan with paper liners. Set aside.
Add wet ingredients to the jug of your blender, blend for 30 seconds.
Add dry ingredients and blend for 15 seconds. Turn off the blender and let the mixture sit for 2 minutes.
Drop in apples and swish around in the jug. Do not blend!
Pour mixture into prepared muffin pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 22-25minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and immediately remove the cupcakes from the pan and set on a cooling rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, add nut butter, honey and vanilla to a small frying pan. Heat on medium-low, stirring constantly until bubbles form. Continue to heat for another 10 seconds. Then, drizzle over top of the cupcakes. Immediately top with walnut pieces.
When I find products that I love, I can’t help but figure out a way to get them in your hands, too.
